Jann's Breast Cancer to Dublin Marathon

Tax deductible
So in 2018, I was all set to do Berlin Marathon. I was up to 19 miles, and training was going amazing. I was at the fittest I ever was.
Then on July 27th, I got the worse news anyone could dream of a cancer diagnosis.
I was diagnosed with Stage II Breast Cancer. Straight away, I started five months of Chemotherapy, two operations and four weeks of radiotherapy, so my running had to be put on a slight hold, although I did try to do a bit. .
Four years on, I am nowhere near where I was with my running in 2018. However, I am alive and living the best life I can.
This year I aim to complete Dublin City Marathon on the 30th for two reasons the closure of the 2018 Berlin marathon and to give back to the charity Breast Cancer Ireland that helped me get where I am today.
