<div>Early Friday morning, Janna went for her morning walk as usual with local corgi legend, Chicken Nugget. Both of them were suddenly attacked by two dogs near a Richland elementary school.

<div>Janna quite literally threw herself over her corgi and struggled to fight them for over four minutes until a passerby jogging saw and came to her rescue. Several community members called 911 to report the attack but by the time police arrived the dogs had run away.

<div>Janna was taken to the hospital and found to have ended up with a broken bone, multiple deep lacerations over leg and face resulting in stitches. After seeing a dentist shortly after, Janna had also found that her gum line had been compromised from the impact of the fight and was given 45 days to 2 months until her bottom row of teeth completely fall out or decay.

<div>There has been such a large response from the community in reaching out and wanting to help that this GoFundMe has been created to help with the quickly mounting medical bills resulting from the unexpected attack. Currently Janna is unable to work or drive, needing frequent medical care and often finding more issues as time goes on.

<div>Janna Davis is a literal ball of sunshine who brings joy to every person she meets. Her dog, Chicken Nugget, is exactly that in true corgi form. I want to return that to her and give <em>her </em>some sunshine this time.
