Dear all,

I hope this message finds each of you doing well.

The reason I am reaching out to you now is that on November 8th of this year it will have been 20 years since my mom, Janis Hanson, passed away. To mark this occurrence and to honor her memory going forward in a tangible way, a GoFundMe account has been established to raise funds in support of something that was very close to her heart – the education of children.

All funds raised through this effort will go to support the library at West View Elementary School in Burlington, WA. Supporting the library is a fitting tribute to her and her connection to this school: the mother of three children who attended there, an active member of the PTA, a school recess attendant, and, before she died, a much beloved 1st grade teacher there.

This fundraising effort will be open for a month, through November 8th, and then funds will be given to the school library soon after for the purchase of books and other library supplies.

Please join me in this effort to honor Janis Hanson and support the education of children at West View Elementary School for many years to come.
