Help Janie White's Daughter !

Thank you for visiting our Gofundme page.  As some of you may know our friend and colleague Janie White's daughter, Mykala Haley, a Medical Assistant at Franciscan Digestive Health Clinic, was a recent victim of a horrific and random act of violence. On Thursday night, she was attending an open mic night in Seattle with one of her best friends when they approached a stop sign in their vehicle. All of a sudden, they found themselves in the line of fire of a random shooting. Mykala was shot twice in the face. So far, she has had 2 surgeries and can not eat anything but liquids for the next 8 weeks. 

We are incredibly blessed and grateful that she is still alive and taking it one day at a time. She is home from the hospital but her journey to recovering, both physically and emotionally, is only just beginning. 

Mykala and her family will be hugely impacted financially by the medical bills and Mykala will be unable to work for many months. If you would like to make a donation to help this family with the expenses they have incurred, it would be greatly appreciated.  We have made arrangements for Mykala to have direct access to the funds as they become available and as they need over the next few months.   She will need continued financial support to cover medical bills and counceling as well as our love, support and prayers.
