Janiah's Gymnastics Fund

My name is Christine and I am Janiah's mom.   My Aunt Marie and I decided to create this GOFUNDME account to help my daughter, Janiah with her gymnastics journey. Janiah's  passion for gymnastics began at the tender age of 4.  Unable to afford the high costs of gymnastics classes, Janiah started watching YouTube and learned different tricks and techniques on her own. Her passion for gymnastics grew even stronger after watching the 2016 Olympics where Gabby and her teammates brought home several gold metals.  Everywhere Janiah went, she would twirl, do flips and cartwheels.  Gymnastics became her life. With her rigorous gymnastics schedule, she never neglected her schoolwork and remains on the honor roll.   After a few donations from family members, she was finally able to enroll in gymnastics school.  She was evaluated and went straight to the intermediate level.  Not long after, she excelled to advance and now she is at the competition level.  Her hours in class have tripled and so has the tuition, not to mention the high costs associated with competition.  We have created this GOFUNDME account to raise money that would allow my daughter Janiah to continue with her gymnastics classes at the competition level and also pay the astronomical costs associated with her upcoming competitions. This would make my daughter extremely happy and would be a dream come true for her knowing, maybe one day, she can represent her country in the Olympics just like Gabby. Thank you so much!
