Many of you will know Janet Standring, President of Spanish Stray Dogs UK.

For many years Janet has given her time and her knowledge to help the wonderful strays of Spain get to loving homes in the UK.

What many of you will not know is that Janet is having a BIG Birthday this December!

You won’t hear it from Janet as she would like this event to pass without parties and fuss, just a quiet celebration with her family, as Janet says “I hate Birthdays and I am going backwards now!”

However, we think that this Birthday should be celebrated it’s not every day the President of our Charity turns 70! (Sorry Janet it’s public knowledge now ).

We, the Trustees and Volunteers, would love it if you could all show your appreciation for this wonderful caring and dedicated person. Janet always goes above and beyond to assist the dogs at all stages of their adoption and also the dogs who for whatever reason are in kennels or foster under the care of the Charity.

Please show your appreciation by leaving a message for Janet and if you wish you could also give a donation in Janet’s honour.

This would go towards the cost of keeping dogs in kennels and foster, including food and Veterinary bills, which costs the Charity around £3000 per month.

Together we can make this a Birthday Janet will never forget.
