Janet Wellman Merritt Breast Cancer

In August, Janet was diagnosed with breast cancer.  The cost for her treatment which is not covered by insurance is going to quickly add up.  She will be losing a big percentage of her income due to downtime from the procedures.  Hopefully this campaign will help to ease the stress level that she  is under financially.  Please consider contributing and know that your generosity will be  greatly appreciated.

Janet told me that her deductible is $3,000, out of pocket expense is $6,000,  she will be off work for a month at half wage if there are no complications.  She has been told she can work while receiving radiation and/or chemo if the pathology report requires that.  She is hoping to have reconstruction surgery before the end of the year so as not to have to meet another big deductible.  At that time she will be off work receiving half pay for 4 to 6 weeks.
