As you are aware our beloved Jan has passed away. Her loss has left a deep void in our lives, one that words can’t fully express. Jan was a bright light, full of love, warmth, and generosity, and she touched many of us in unforgettable ways.

As we come to terms with this painful reality, we’re doing our best to honour Jan’s memory with the dignity and peace she deserves. We are hoping to arrange a cremation in keeping with her wishes, a final act of love and respect for someone who meant so much to so many.

We are also in the process of applying for support from a government fund that may help cover the costs. If we are successful in receiving this assistance, we will do our best to reimburse those who have kindly contributed.

The cost of the cremation alone is £1,350. If you feel able to help in any way, whether it’s a small donation or simply sharing this message, we would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving Jan the farewell she deserves.

We are also planning to arrange two gatherings to celebrate Jan’s life, one in Stoke and another in Hodnet, so that everyone who loved her can come together, share memories, and honour her in their own way. We’ll share full details very soon, and hope you can join us.
