Janess is a mother of 3 kids and had a happy family life with 3 lovely daughters and her husband Edwin until she was diagnosed with Idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura (ITP) but even though this diagnosis is not conclusive yet as her bone marrow biopsy result will only be ready on the 22nd of December, 2017.
Back in July 2016 Janess had an abnormal monthly menstruation which causes her to bleed heavily. For more than a year now, Janness was under medication for this abnormal bleeding, unexplained bruises and then eventually bleeding gums and nose. Initially, Janess's doctor treated the bleeding using a various procedures but to no avail, until recently she started to have edema, and started to look very pale, body pain that you cant almost touch her because it was painful for her and passed out episodes. When Janess had her blood works on the second week of November 2017, it was found out that her platelets level was critically low. She was rushed to emergency hospital and was hospitalized for almost 3 weeks.
At first she was diagnosed with Idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura (ITP) but then the medications administered to her does not seem to work so they performed bone marrow biopsy. Until now, though the exact cause is unsure and the biopsy result is not ready yet the doctors have rescribed her to have this expensive medication which is mostly used for leukemia patients that should be given to her at least twice a week for atleast 6 months. The doctor pointed out that whatever the result is, she still need to have this medication for some time.
The most expensive medicine is Eprex which costs more than $500 CAD per vial, which should be administered twice a week for atleast 6 months and possibly more depends on the final diagnosis. The hospital pharmacy already contacted the insurance company if this type of medicine is covered but it was declined. Since Janess's husband Edwin is the only provider who is making just enough for living, Janess's family is not in a position to finance this huge expense.
At this point of time, Janess and Edwin is seeking your help to buy this medication for atleast for next 6 months. She has already been strating the medication and their reserve funds is no longer enough that is why she needs the fund to procure the medicine and administer this to her continually. They need the support as soon as possible to support this medication.
