Jane's Cancer Treatment & Wish List

Some of you who are visiting this Go Fund me page know my mom. Some of you don't. All you need to know is that she is the kindest, bravest woman I know and she is very sick. As of now, she has Stage 4 cancer, but the official diagnosis of what kind she has and the treatment options available will come later this week. Even so, my mother will have some large medical bills despite Medicare's contribution. She lives on a fixed income and is very anxious about being able to cover these bills. IF the cancer is untreatable or she decides to opt out, I'm sure there are some bucket items my mom would like to complete and your contribution could help her fulfill her wishes. I know she wants to complete her fence so she can keep her small dog, her only companion, with her at home-she's too weak to walk him at the moment and a completely fenced in yard would solve that in an instant. Other things on top of treatment she needs are new glasses and cataract surgery, just to name a few. Wish list items will probably include taking her granddaughter to do fun things together, taking a trip somewhere to relax, and small luxuries like pedicures, to make her life a little more comfortable while she goes through all the different processes. Any little bit can help and will ease her anxiety and give her something to look forward to as she recovers from surgery and moves forward along this difficult journey. I will update this page as we learn more about the type of cancer she has and what kind of treatment and time frame she has.
