<div>My name is Janelle (she/they/QUEEN), and I’m reaching out with deep vulnerability and hope. In just a few weeks, I’ll be undergoing a long-awaited gender affirming surgery, a life-saving, life-affirming step in my journey as a Black trans woman. This surgery will bring me closer to feeling whole in my body and spirit, but the costs are overwhelming.
