Jane Brogan

This is my friend Jane.  Jane was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in March 2018.   Doctors found 3 lumps from a simple  mammogram in February and within 2 weeks Jane found herself at the hospital undergoing surgery for a bilateral mastectomy.   Currently, Jane is receiving chemo treatments every other week  while continuing to work full time.  Jane will then begin radiation in June.  As you can imagine, this has turned her active life upside down.

 Jane and her Veteran Husband Dan, are no strangers to cancer.  Just last year Dan had his own battle with this horrible disease and underwent surgery and treatment to get him on the road to recovery.   Dan still meeting with his Doctor every 3 months to ensure he remains cancer free.   The cost for cancer treatment is expensive and now once again, they are faced with the heavy financial burden of which their health insurance does not cover.

 For 25 years Jane has worked as a Social Worker working with children and families at a non profit agency.  Moreover, Jane also works with children with autism and is currently a Kindergartner Teacher in Central N.H.  Dan and Jane have 2 children a girl and a boy,  24 and 22 years of age who have their whole lives ahead of them and want nothing more than their mother to be a cancer survivor. There will be weddings, grandchildren, Baptismals, birthdays and Jane wants to be present and healthy for every life event.  We put this page together for Jane and her family in hopes of raising $10,000 because Jane needs to focus on her health and beating this tremendous disease and not be overwhelmed by the financial burden.
