Jamon's Homegoing and Burial

Donation protected
Jamon was God's presentation of love to everyone who knew him. He left too soon. He was a comforter. He was a caring son and father, leaving his mother, children, family and friends to grieve his absence.  Jamon became 100% disabled in 2006 at the age of 31 years old. He refused to give up life. He continued to work, care for his children, love his mother, and encourage his community to live peacefully. He loved his Lord, God. He was an active member of his church community where he sang in the young adult choir and served as a deacon.

Although Jamon purchased his burial space, he didn't live long enough to purchase his casket or mortuary  service. The money requested will purchase this mortuary service.  Jamon's mother, ShaRon Davis, who served as his caregiver for the last 6 years, will be responsible for making all the funeral arrangements.

Anything you give, will be greatly appreciated. We thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness.

Jamon was pronounced dead on December 3rd at 2:23pm. At his death, he hadn't eaten in 49 days. On October 28th the doctors told Jamon that the only thing keeping him alive was machines and medicines, he took himself off medication and machines and continued to live. Jamon was admitted to Cedar Sinai on October 22nd. His heart stopped on October 26th. The doctors said he would be dead by October 28th. Jamon lived depending only on God for another month. When he believed his tasks here on earth were complete, he gave up the ghost.

Over the 7 weeks he spent in the hospital, he had over 200 visitors, averaging 10-20 a day. The doctors remarked, they had never seen such a demonstration of love. One doctor shared that Jamons will for life, encouraged him to return to his faith in God. Jamon was God's presentation of love to all he met. Every person he met remembers his smile and the love he shared with them. When Jamon was reminded of the love that he had shared with so many, he responded, "I keep giving it, because I keep getting it back." Jamon taught us how to love each other unconditionally, forever.
