Jamison Memorial Human Resource & Development Agency has entered into a collaboration with Project Greatness and Greater St. Mark Family Church, to ensure that 120 - 150 at-risk children in the Ferguson-Florissant area will have a fun, nurturing and empowering summer in a safe, clean environment. This collaboration shares a deep concern for the future of our youth who have been adversely affected by the events of violence , destruction, rioting and looting that occurred in Ferguson, Missouri during the summer 2014. During that time, children had no safe access to services, activities, food and water for several weeks. THAT CANNOT HAPPEN AGAIN! Therefore, the safety of children is a primary focus of this year’s summer program, JSO SUMMER LEARNING ENRICHMENT PROGRAM.
OUR SUMMER THEME:

We want to serve 120 - 150 underserved and at-risk children, ages 5-15, in grades K-9th grade at the former Stormin Academy located at 1826 Chambers Road. Activities have been planned to give them a transformative, empowering experience through learning enrichment, mentoring and leadership of several generations of young adults and adults, along with parental involvement.
The plans for Summer 2015 for operating the JSO Summer Learning Enrichment Program are underway, but will need considerable assistance from the community in order to achieve its goals.
With your help of a donation of any size, we will be successful in giving 120 - 150 children in the Ferguson, Florissant, Jennings and Moline Acres area a summer of safety and empowerment. Thank you in advance for your help with this very critical project!
