FIGHT FOR YOUR CAUSE

For those who don't know me, my name is Jamie and I am a Makeup & Brow Specialist at Townsvilles one and only, Urban Miss Makeup.

This October I am venturing WAY outside my normal habitat (and comfort zone) and signed up for Townsville's annual corporate charity boxing event Fight For Your Cause!

After 3 months of training with the team from Body Torque, I will be stepping into the ring for the very first time to raise much needed funds for the Townsville Leukaemia Foundation QLD Freemasons Village.

This not for profit organisation provide a home away from home for the couples and families battling various forms of Leukaemia. With 18 fully self contained units, the  facilities and support which are provided by this organisation at no cost, are invaluable to those in need.

Not only is this a charity that I support but it is also close my heart as I have had family and friends around me who have had to utilise these facilities on extremely short notice. Without their help and support, I don't know how they would have gotten through and we are all forever grateful.

I am honoured to now be able to give back and support those who support so many.

***100% of funds raised will go to the Townsville Leukaemia Village(minus the GoFundMe page admin fee)
