GoFundMe has asked me to make a few specific updates so here goes:
Who you are:
I'm one of Jamie's good friends.
Where you're from:
I was born and raised in Madison and currenty live on the west side of Madison.
Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for:
I'm one of Jamie's best friends and a friend of the family since I met him/them my junior year in highschool. Jamie and I stayed in touch throughout college and after. We made some great memories visiting Jamie when he lived in Arizona and Florida and enjoyed a few trips up north and elsewhere.
How the funds will be used (be specific as possible):
The funds are being used to cover Jamie's final costs. Some things that have already been or will be paid for include:
-Cremation
-Obituary
-Death certificates
-Urn
-Jamie's bills
-Memorial service
If you intend to withdraw the money, how you plan to send the funds to the parties you're raising money for or use the money on their behalf:
After talking things over with Micky, we decided the best way to distribte the funds is to assign her as the only beneficiary. This makes the most sense as she has been paying for everything already and is the primary beneficiary for Jamie's posessions.

As you probably have heard by now, we lost our great friend, Jamie Schulenberg, on August 30th.
Jamie is the kind of guy that would do anything for those he knew. He loved his friends and family and would stop at nothing to help them. Although Jamie would never admit it, he could use our help.
Funeral costs are far more than you would imagine. To help, we're asking for your support to contribute what you can. The focus of this fundraising is to cover expenses related to celebrating his life and letting Jamie rest in peace.
More than anything, we want you to share your pictures and stories of Jamie. Your support and presence at his memorial is the greatest gift you can offer for his family and friends. We want to hear how Jamie impacted your life and how he will live on in all of us and our memories.
