I am doing this for a friend of mine that needs some help and support.  Anything you can do or help would be much appreciated.   He is a great man and a great friend.  This is his story. 

As most of you know I was diagnosed in May with ALS and then went for a 2nd opinion in July and was diagnosed with MMN which is treatable through IVIG infusions. The only way to know for sure if I have MMN rather than ALS is to try the infusions for 3 months. Unfortunately, I have not been able to start treatment because my insurance company is denying approval. My doctor has written an appeal and it was also denied. We are despearte and reaching out to all our friends who may be able to help. If anyone knows any politicians or St. Joe/Candler management that may be able to help please let us know. You can e-mail (had to delete per GFM) and we will forward you a letter with all the details. Thanks for any help and all your prayers. We will not stop until we get these life saving infusions!

He truley is a great man that got dealt a bad hand but his spirit is strong and needs a little help for medical expenses.
