Help Jamie recover from a tragic car accident

Our family needs your prayers. On December 17th my 17 year old sister in law Jamie and my 16 year old niece Hailey were involved in a tragic car accident. They were broadsided at highway speed and Jamie was ejected out the passenger window and landed on the road. When my other sister in law (haileys mother) and my father in law arrived at the hospital the girls were covered in blood and glass. Hailey was in pain and her leg was in traction as they believed she had a femur fracture. Jamie was pale, covered in blood and terrified. Jamie suffered severe injuries. She has severe lacerations to her face and back that required over 100+ stitches. She has a grade 4-5 liver laceration that may require surgery, but the biggest concern at this time is the sacrum/pelvic fracture. There was displacement which involved some nerves which may have lead to nerve damage. They have a team of neurosurgeons and orthopedics working together to figure out the best approach at repairing the damage. She had surgery today to place hardware and try to repair the spinal injury. Jamie also has injuries to her lungs and spleen, She is currently at Milwaukee Children’s hospital and is in intensive care. Hailey is at home recovering, her leg did not end up being fractured but she has a large hematoma. She is very bruised and banged up but should make a full recovery. Jamie is going to have a long road ahead of her they said her recovery will be 8-12 months. Jamie is a junior at Stephenson high school. Jamie is a great kid that never fails to put a smile on the faces of her friends and family. She loves horseback riding and hanging out with her friends. Her father Steve Is a single dad, He has not left her bedside since the accident. He also could use your prayers and love.
