As many of you know, Jami was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in late October. She quickly began chemo treatments that started in November.
The next big phase to come is a surgery schedule for 2/26. She will have a portion of her femur removed and complete a hip replacement. Post-surgery she’ll resume chemo treatment for several more months. Through it all, she still remains the positive, upbeat girl we all love!
Jami is on extended medical leave from Tyson through September 2018. Through the treatment process, there are significant out of pocket expenses Jami is incurring. Some of the monthly shots alone cost her $1,250 per month.
If we’re able meet our goal of $7,500, Jami will be relieved for 6 months of this expense! What a blessing to offer this stress relief while she’s building strength to kick this disease’s A$$!
