Final Expenses For James Rains

James was born on June 6th, 1989. He recently turned 28 just over a month ago. He is a single father of two small children; Mason 6, and Piper 3. James is a hands-on loving father who loves golf, dirt bikes, and sports.
On the night of July 12, 2017, James suffered a traumatic accident on his bmx bicycle. James has a C2 fracture in his spinal cord. This accident has resulted in him becoming a quadriplegic (parlyzed from the neck down). He is coherent and able to hear us talk to him and feel us touch him anywhere on his head. So far he is lip-syncing words to us and we are being creative with different ways to communicate. He understands what happened and where he is. We are awaiting more images and tests to come before a surgical plan is discussed. Doctors have told us this is going to be a lifestyle change for him.  Right now, there are a lot of unknowns, but what we are sure of is this is going to be a long road to recovery.

James will be in the hospital for months. We ask everyone to keep James in your thoughts and prayers.
