James, Paul and Stephen are three brothers who lead a church in a country where Christians are restricted. We cannot use their real names because they have already been persecuted for their faith; but "James" is the pastor; "Paul" is the chief evangelist; and "Stephen", who also helps with preaching and teaching, is the administrator. For a long time, this congregation has been praying in a tent. On 27 February 2017 the brothers were finally able to buy a building where their congregation can meet. They paid over half the price up-front and agreed to pay the balance before 27 May. To date, they have raised the majority of the price, but they are still US$6,000 (AUS $8,000) short of the total. If they cannot raise this money by the deadline, they will lose the building, together with all the money they have already paid.
Dear friends, this appeal is not to strangers, but to those of you who already know about the great work that the Holy Spirit has done in this church. Please help James, Paul and Stephen raise the money to pay their debt. Then this Church will own a building outright, and the congregation will have a permanent base to continue its work.
