James (Jim) Smith's Medical Fund

On Friday July 28th around 8pm my husband Jim got into a terrible car accident...he was traveling South on Eastside highway inbetween Stevensville and Victor when another vehicle traveling North hit a deer, the deer flew up into Jim's windsheild knocking him unconsious causing him to veer off into a nearby feild where he hit a tree. The deer broke every bone in his face, fractured his skull, and the top of his spine. He is currently in the intensive care unit at St Pats and will be for an unknown amount of time, while he is getting over the first part of his recovery. More surgeries and other procedures to come. There is no medical coverage under the auto insurance, so these funds will be used for any medical bills that accrue during his long stay in intensive care, his recovery time at home, and the period of unemployment which could be up to a year.
