Our family has suffered a tragic loss and we are heartbroken. Only months before graduating from Dudley High School and his 18th birthday, James David Currie Jr. (17) was taken from us. He was shot and killed on Sunday, March 24th around 10:30 p.m.
We do not know WHY or WHAT happened, but his death has devastated our entire family. James was a twin, a sweet, quiet, respectful young man, always smiling and eager to hug his loved ones. We were just talking about colleges a few weeks ago. He was looking forward to his future, which he will never get to enjoy. His loss was completely unexpected.

We are reaching out to our community because our family needs help paying for his funeral services. Our goal is to raise $15,000 for funeral and other expenses. We wish we were planning for his graduation instead of his funeral, but, sadly, we are not.
