James touched the lives of hundreds of people as the championed The LAZ Way. You see, James was the type of guy you always wanted in your corner when your back was against the wall. He was always first to volunteer to help, first to make sure you had what you needed to be successful, and he was always going to stand with you until the job was done. When it came to LAZ we were really his family, and he showed that in his commitment to his team, and the clients that valued him.
We were all deeply saddened when James passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 22, 2019.
Having been with LAZ for two (2) years he was excited to continue his growth as a Facilities Manager supporting some of the best hotels in Atlanta. He was a current participant in LAZ U 101 set to graduate on Thursday, May 2nd 2019. Upon hearing that he was selected to participate in this session James made sure to let us know he was humbled by the nomination! He looked at every opportunity as a way to serve those around him, and embodied the Never Ever Give Up attitude. So much so that every week he'd relay a challenge he'd had recenctly or in the past and made the connection to what .he'd learned from 101 that would make him a better servant leader.
James was a bright light who is and will continue to be missed dearly. As we are mourning the loss of such a beautiful soul we want to give back to James in appreciation of his dedication to LAZ Southeast.
James did not have life insurance, and as you can imagine, the loss of such a giant was unexpected for his wife, mother, and daughter. As our final act of love, please help ensure his family can lay him to rest in the coming days by reaching this goal. In addition, LAZ Parking will contribute an additional $5,000 to the funds raised here. All of the funds that are collected will be used specifically for his burial, and to help support his family.
