James Brittenham Earth Science Scholarship

Hi, I'm James' wife, Miki. Now that James has passed, I'm setting up this scholarship in his name because I want to honor him the best way I can. James loved rocks and crystals and everything to do with them-digging, cutting, polishing, collecting, and learning about their crystalline structures.

Together we served on the board of the Clear Lake Gem and Mineral Society. One of the duties we had was reading applications for their yearly Earth Science scholarships. It was such a rewarding experience to be able to help someone achieve their college goals and make things a little easier for them along the way. I want to be able to offer that to more people who are motivated to study this fascinating field. I know James would too.
