James Boone Memorial Fund

This fundraiser has been created to establish a memorial fund in the name of James H. Boone.

Jim passed very suddenly on July 6th, 2021 following an emergency surgery. Jim is survived by his brother Danny and Sister Mable in Vermont and his sister Alberta in Kentucky. Our family will mourn Jim's passing but we are filled with joy knowing that Jim will live on for generations to come through his work at the Bishop Museum.

Jim's legacy of education, knowledge, and passion for science will live on in the exhibits and collections he help create and curate throughout his esteemed career. Help us to build a memorial fund in Jim's honor to help his memory live on.

A small portion of the funds will go toward legal fees to establish a trust for Jim's estate. All remaining funds raised will be donated in Jim's memory to support the programs and collections he so loved.
