Jambo, Kenya Trip 2026 with Camps International

Hi, my name is Albie and I am fundraising £4,380 to embark on a once in a lifetime adventure to Jambo, Kenya in 2026.

This opportunity was presented to me by Camps International through my school, Sandymoor Ormiston Academy.

I will be travelling to Jambo in Kenya in August, 2026 for 4 weeks. Whilst there I will be living and working alongside local people and will get involved in a range of sustainable projects. My days will be spent working with local people, helping to support the local community, wildlife and environment. I will have the opportunity to get to know the inspiring Mamas of the local village who will teach me traditional skills and I will also meet the world-famous Maasai Tribe.

To raise money for the trip I will be doing a sponsored 10 mile walk, a 10k run, litter picking, babysitting and earning money posting leaflets. I will also be looking for businesses to sponsor me in exchange for their company logo on my fundraising and expedition t-shirts.
