Jamals Brain Surgery

Hi all, my name is Sam and I have been with my best friend Jamal for 6 years. On May 6th, 2023, Jamal had a seizure while driving home. While seizing, his foot got stuck on the accelerator; he crossed three lanes of oncoming traffic and crashed into a parking lot. He hit 6 cars, totaling 4- including his own. By the grace of God, there was no one in the vehicles he hit and he has no external injuries. However, his MRI revealed a very aggressive brain tumor which was the cause of the seizure. His craniotomy was a success and he is in recovery, but he will still need a biopsy, help with his medical bills, a new car, and a whole lot of prayers. Jamal is the kind of man who would give you a place to stay for however long you needed it, the shirt off his back, $19 when he only has $20, anything to help someone in need. May 24 Update

Jamal’s doctor finally called yesterday with biopsy results- his brain tumor was stage 3 cancer. While this is obviously not the news we were hoping for, we are grateful to have answers and a plan of action. We never thought we would be thankful for his accident but without it we might not have caught this in time. Going forward, he will need chemo and radiation treatments so keep the prayers and shares going for him❤️
