Capt Jamaal Paul Memorial Marker

Donation protected

Jamaal Paul was known as many things: friend, classmate, boss, co-worker, and many more. His infectious laugh, loving demeanor and impeccable character will be deeply missed.

A Foreign Area Studies major at the Academy, Jamaal had a love for languages and the world he lived in. Jamaal graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2012, and proceeded to Goodfellow AFB for Intelligence School. After successfully completing 8 months of rigorous instruction, Jamaal graduated as a 14N and departed for his first assignment to Ramstein AB, Germany. He excelled as a MOC (Mission Operations Commander) at the 24th IS, supervisor and SIDO (Senior Intelligence Duty Officer) at the 603d AOC. Jamaal was currently wrapping up his OCONUS tour and was looking forward to a promising Intelligence career.

As classmates, friends, family and co-workers we are looking to honor Jamaal Paul, and have a 24in x 12in  Bronze Memorial Marker placed in the US Air Force Academy cemetery. The VA has very strict criteria to pay for memorials and will not be contributing, and as a result our goal is to raise approximately $1500.00 to have the marker cast and placed at the Academy.

On 7 April 2016, Jamaal was posthumously promoted to Captain and awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal.

Plaque funds will be given to USAFA Mortuary Affairs, any remaining funds will be reserved for a foundation that will be established in Jamaal's honor.

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your support to honor Jamaal!
