Jam For Jesse

I am writing this notice to inform the communities of Bancroft & surrounding areas that one of our most cherished musical contributors has suffered a terrible injury.

Last Wednesday, Jesse Hanna had an accident working at home with a table saw. His baby finger was almost completely removed and the tendons were severed all the way up to the pointer finger on the left hand. He was taken from the Bancroft hospital to Kingston via ambulance, where he had an extensive surgery to reattach the finger. Luckily, he had an excellent surgeon and the operation went better than expected. However, Jesse will not be able to work or play music for a while - and he will require physiotherapy to regain the function in his hand.

Jesse has put his heart and soul into actively playing music and spending his time doing sound for our Mineral Capital Concerts, events at The Bancroft Village Playhouse, at The Arlington, and much more - as well as being a friendly, familiar face at our local music shop, Guitar Nuts.

We will be holding a benefit for the Jesse, G and Echo on Saturday, April 7th at the Arlington hotel - complete with food, silent auction and live music. All proceeds will go to the Locherer-Hanna family. This GoFundMe has been created for those who would still like to donate but cannot attend the event.
