Jake McCready Fire Relief
On November 17, 2017, an apartment fire in Jake's Hamilton Heights apartment building destroyed all of his possessions.

He was left with only the clothes on his back, his wallet, his phone, and his keys.
Most people who know Jake knows he is an incredibly caring and loving person who would do anything for his friends and family. He is an actor, fresh out of Grad School, working part-time as a nanny as his main source of income. Without a home, it will be very difficult for him to work and without his resumes and headshots, he will be set back in his acting career until he can replace them. Most importantly of all, Jake is a wonderful friend, brother, son, and neighbor. Now is our chance to give back to him.
Please help Jake with as much as you can. Every dollar will go toward helping him recover and buy new clothes, shoes, furniture, electronics, toiletries, and anything else he will need.
$8,000 will probably not be enough to indemnify him for his loss, but every little bit counts, especially for an actor living in NYC. Along with his clothes and furniture, he lost his laptop, headshots, resumes, TV, years of scripts and notes from school, dishes, pots, pans, and so many other little items that you don't think about losing until it happens.
Jake is loved by his friends and family and we are doing our best to take care of him, but it will probably not be enough to help him get back on his feet. If you can't donate money, please reach out to us with anything you can offer, and either way, please send Jake your love. Also keep in mind that for the time being, Jake does not have a place to store things and will not be able to transport large items easily, especially from out-of-state, so donations of money are the best thing to help him right now.
