<div>Jake is manifesting his dream of becoming a pilot! After graduating high school in the middle of the pandemic, he worked and took a break, processing the next step in his life, his adult future. By not rushing into a trade or college, he discovered his true passion, flying! With aviation running in the family, it's no wonder that becoming a pilot has become his dream. At 20 years old, Jake has been accepted into ATP Flight School, an intense and fast-paced flight training school that will qualify him to become a commercial pilots within 2 years. ATP has over 84 locations nationwide and Jake completed his admission flight in Phoenix, Arizona, and confirmed his start date on April 15, 2024. Getting to this point took focus and hard work, and it is an overwhelmingly proud moment for our ohana. Jake has secured a loan for school, which is a bit daunting at over $100,000, but without a doubt, a worthwhile investment for this amazing young man. There will be many costs, the school tuition, as he will be living and going to school full-time, away from home in 6 months. If you are able to help support Jake, I (mom) have set up this Go Fund Me page to help pay for the all the incidental and additional costs of his aviation education in Phoenix. The support from family and friends is always a blessing, and once again brings truth to the saying "it takes a village". Thank you for being a part of our "village" and any support will be greatly appreciated.
