Jake Harbert
Donation protected
About a week before Christmas, Jacob Harbert heard he was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma. It’s a nasty cancer of the nose and throat. He will be going through photon radiotherapy and chemo in Seattle throughout January and February. Fortunately, after meeting with the chemo oncologist and the radiation oncologist, Jake heard that he will only need three chemo treatments. More good news is that the radiation is only five days a week, not the seven that the family had thought, so he will have the weekend off to rest up.
Unfortunately, while on the west side to treat his cancer, they had a car break-in on top of it. They broke the window and took EVERYTHING! Including Christmas presents, computer, Nintendo switch, two years of Opal’s daughter’s artwork and supplies and their CLOTHES! The switch was to keep Jake occupied while he went through chemo and radiation.
2020 should not, will not, start this way for the Harbert’s. We want to help them today, and anything works. They appreciate every thought, prayers, juju, positive energy, that we can send. But a donation will make a difference and help them focus on Jake and his recovery.
