    Two years ago Charlie and I moved to a 55 and over community in Plaistow.    It was here that we met a wonderful family Cindy and Phil Connolly and we are truly blessed to call them our friends.   

Cindy and Phil have 2 children, Amanda from Amesbury and Kevin from Newton NH.  

  Kevin and Michelle have 3 beautiful children.      Jake 6 has Down syndrome, twin girls Emma and Sarah age of 3. 

 Michelle a stay home Mom, Kevin is a truck driver and breadwinner for the family.    Over the past month Jake had not been feeling well, several visits to the Dr. ‘s office but they could not find anything wrong.        2 weeks ago Jake was at home and couldn’t breath, was taken by ambulance to a NH Hospital, almost died.   The NH Hospital came to realize they could not handle Jakes case due to the severity of it ; they took him by helicopter to Children’s in Boston just days before his 6th Birthday.     Today little Jake lay in Critical but stable condition in ICU, hooked up to a respirator not able to breath on his own, is also on Dialysis.     Mom and dad have not left his side; the girls have been with family and friends.    Kevin who is the only source of income in the family has used up all his sick and vacation time at his job leaving them with no income.   As we all know the household   and hospital bills are piling up and don’t stop.   I’m   sure that is adding additional stress to the family at a very sad and difficult time.   But the Connolly’s   are very strong people and family comes 1st.       We all remain hopeful that Jake will make a full recovery but it will be a very long road for all of them.     It is with our hope that  this go fund me page will help alleviate some of the added stress on the family , let them focus on what is most important to them little Jake and the family.    For anyone that has had the pleasure of meeting Jake has truly been blessed.   He is the most wonderful, caring and loving child anyone could ever meet.    We ask that you please help in anyway that you can to help lessen the financial burden that lies ahead for this wonderful family.     Please keep Jake and his family in your thoughts and Prayers.
