Jake and Slash: Kitten brothers battling FIP

Hello everyone! Allow my family and me to introduce to you the sweetest brothers on Earth: Slash and Jake. They are littermates, brothers, besties and now sadly they are both FIP WARRIORS too.

We adopted our baby boys at 2 months old and they have completely changed our lives. It would be an understatement to say that they saved us from drowning in sadness after we lost our 13 & 17 year old cats earlier this year to other ailments. These boys have brought so much joy and levity back into our world! We owe it to them to fight as hard as we can to help them defeat FIP the same way they’ve done everything in their lives thus far-TOGETHER.

We all know first hand just how expensive FIP treatment can be, so we know everyone understands us reaching out to ask for any help that may be available.

Both boys have the Wet form of FIP. Our Black Tabby slash is on day 16 of treatment, while his brother Jake the Ginger Tabby was just diagnosed and is on day 3 of 84. We have estimated our expenses based on our required dosages, expected weight gain and occasional vet visits with blood work. Currently we feel that full treatment for both brothers will be just shy of $3,500.

We understand that everyone here is fighting a battle as well, and ask that if you aren’t able to donate, that you share our post and send our boys well wishes and encouragement! If you are able to donate, please know that any amount makes a life-saving difference to Jake and Slash! Every penny we raise will go directly to their treatment and if we are lucky enough to raise more, we’d donate to whatever FIP fighting cause our admins thought was best.
