<div>Friends and Family, last week, Jai received the unfortunate news that his fight against cancer is not over. Jai is a healthy Leukemia survivor and has been in remission since 2016. Now....the battle has begun again, and we need your help! Jai, unfortunately, will not be able to work during his treatment as he is focusing on the chemotherapy treatment plan from the medical team. Jai relocated alone post-graduation to Arizona, where he accepted his first career job as a Mechanical Engineer. Due to the diagnosis, Jai has to put his dream job on hold and focus on his health 100%.
Additionally, Jai is seeking to be able to relocate back to Atlanta, GA, to be able to have the support of his family and friends through this tough time. We are all pitching in to help Jai relocate back to Atlanta and would like him not to worry about chemotherapy procedures, hospital bills, relocation costs and other expenses. All proceeds will go directly to Jai and his family to fund his treatment and recovery. Any donation would help, but most importantly, prayers are needed 24/7! <div>Backstory: On the night of August 18th, 2022, Jai was sound asleep when a sudden sharp pain started under his armpits, where his lymph node was located. In this moment, Jai could not move his arm or grip anything with his hands. He began to feel weak and dizzy, and he was also met with a 103-degree fever. This became worrying &amp; he used all of his strength to make it to the ER. Doctors at the ER couldn't thoroughly diagnose the arm pain and advised Jai that he was only having muscle spasms, suggesting the "R.I.C.E" method and a follow-up appointment if the pain increased. Four days later, Jai found a 2nd opinion &amp; returned to the hospital, where this time, they were able to run multiple blood tests. The oncology team noticed low counts in his CBC results but wanted to rule out all infectious diseases; therefore, they initially treated him for sepsis, meningitis, MRSA, and covid. Those infectious disease tests thankfully came back negative. Unfortunately, his test results showed what everyone was dreading..... a relapse of ALL Leukemia in his body. Jai is scheduled to receive a  bone marrow biopsy, hoping the results do not require a bone marrow transplant. In addition, he is expected in lumbar punctures to ensure that his spinal fluid is cancer free. As we await these results, we ask that everyone keeps Jai in their prayers and help him stay in this fight!
