Jaice's New Heart
I was told that my child was healthy at the time of birth, but now we have endured countless and expensive hospital stays and surgeries. My son, Jaice, heart stopped in MUSC children's ER on July, 28th, 2016 he was only two months old at the time.
Since then, he has been placed on the heart transplant list and has undergone three very risky heart surgeries. August 2, 2016, was his first surgery of Coarc repair. Even after his surgery, he still managed to smirk a little in his sleep.
On February 18th, 2017, Jaice received his second surgery, called PA Band. Which is the placement of a band around his pulmonary artery to restrict fluids from backing up into his lungs. 
And his third most recent surgery (September 27th, 2017), to put in an assist device for his heart, this is called LVAD which then turns into the Berlin heart later on. If you saw or even knew my son, you would know that he's a happy go-lucky, vibrant child that can make anyone smile. Just seeing him lie in a bed with all these tubes and monitors hooked up to him, can make any parent feel helpless and rightfully angry as to why my child has to go through this.
My sons medical and outpatient care bills are piling up faster than we can take a quick 5 minute break. I am here today to ask you for assistance. Any amount that God tells you to donate, we sincerely do appreciate it!
