Joe needs a Kidney and Prayers

Joe was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease over a year ago. He has been on dialysis every since. He goes to Dialysis 3 times a week 4 hours a day at the Davita Dialysis Clinic in Bethany under the care of Dr. Schuller. He needs a kidney transplant. We also need all the help financially we can get. We were already in debt do to my medical problems(27 back surgeries, the seizuries and 12 other surgeries) we have dealt with over the last 20 years. Joe already himself has thousands of dollars worth of medical bills and its just been a little over a year, he still has the transplant and then the anti-rejection medicine he will have to take monthly with insurance runs about $500.00 a month for the rest of his life. His liver is also not functioning at 100%. He will be having other procedures as we go along. When a Kidney does become available he will be having his transplant at Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institution in the Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.


Recently I was asked how would people know this is not a scam?
(The one's that don't really know Joe & I) Well, there is a two-fold answer. The first being you could contact Susan Young and ask for a donation packet and she will send you one. Due to HIPPA Laws I don't think the others will say he is a patient but we could send a copy of his acceptance to the transplant list. The second answer I have for this is...I understand no one wants to be hurt or scammed Joe and I have been through both. 75% of our marriage we have had others living with us til they could get on there feet. Or Joe tried to help someone out and that person decided to steal his truck instead. Or people ask me why do I always give money to the people on the side of the road, (they tell me they are scams or just want alcohol) Giving comes from the heart, when you give its like giving to GOD. I am not to Judge, what they do with the gift is between them and God. We are blessed when we give. Hebrews 13:6 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. This money will go into an account for medical bills and at the end, if there are any monies left we will donate them to the American Kidney Foundation

Joe and I(Anna) have been married 32 years. We got married in our apartment, we didn't have a honeymoon. It has been just me and him together raising our family. Through thick and thin. He has been there for me while I have been sick and It wasn't easy. We managed to raise 3 beautiful kids Tiffany 31, Chris 29 and Joey 24. My Daugter is married to a great guy Nick and we are going to have our 7th grandchild in February. We need to keep Joe around, I plan to grow old with him.

We are not used to having to ask anyone for things, But I was praying and God let me know that was pride. Something I never thought I was, but I have to admit it is a form of pride and God doesn't like that. So Please if you can help, do. Please keep us in your prayers.
