K9 Laika transportation

We are raising money to cover costs associated with the travel and adoption of K9 Laika. Laika and I were partnered up in March 2010 in Hill Country Texas, shortly after our certification we deployed to Afghanistan to support the US Military.
In June 2013 I had to return home to my family and Laika stayed behind. I let my intentions be known when I left that I wanted to adopt Laika upon her retirement.  I have kept in touch with the company and I've been patiently waiting for her return.  

I know that shortly after I left, she was paired with another handler and continued working.  This March, I was informed she was slated to come back and would be here in April.  There have been some delays on her returning and as such she's been waiting to return.  Laika has seperation anxiety and does not do well in the kennel enviroment, today I was notified that they had to do an amputation of her tail as she chewed and tore it up.  I've been given the opportunity to bring her back, the cost for the travel is approximately $3200.

Your generous donations will be used to cover transportation costs from Afghanistan to Pipers Rescue in Alabama, Notary Fees, health check up, crate etc.

I need to raise funds before the travel arrangements can be made.  I'm hoping to raise the funds needed to bring her home safely were she can relax and retire.
