Help Jae Pay Off Her Trans Medical and Other Debt

Hi, my name is Jae, I'm a trans woman and I began my journey on December 15th 2020. I've run up a fair amount of medical bills, mostly due to expensive gender-affirming care, as well as lots of credit card debt for moving and day-to-day living expenses due to having to leave my parent's home as the living situation was becoming difficult for all involved, as well as having so switch to lower-paid full-time work due to some issues at a family-owned retail business, which many of my community will be aware of.

I'm in a long-term relationship with James, who lives in the UK; our goal over the next 2-6 years is to get married and for me to move to England permanently. The process will be expensive, and flights are already somewhat of a challenge. Before I leave the US, I want to make sure that I have a clean break in terms of finances, and I'm sure this will have a potential impact on the immigration process.

I work full-time in retail and although my pay is not unreasonable, the monthly payments on many of the loans and cards are having a major impact and leaving me worried each month. My partner helps as much as he can, but he has only just gotten a new job and has expenses to cover too.

I do feel I need to say thank you to my parents for their help in allowing me to continue to use their car as well as keeping this insured and registered for me. Whilst fuel is still an ongoing cost, I am glad I'm able to have a functional vehicle to travel to work and appointments.
