I am a former Green Side Hospital Corpsman (combat medic for the Marines).
I was stationed with 1/24 marines, and did a tour in Iraq in 2009 as an Individual Augmentee with 3/24 Marines. After four years of service, I became a licensed EMT and was working on getting my Firefighting Certifications when I was diagnosed with B-Cell Leukemia. My leukemia was found to be service connected and I was also diagnosed with PTSD.
I am now fully disabled and living in Spring Lake, MI with my wife. We have four children. I’m currently focusing on my mental health to better myself as a person, Father and Husband. I’m in weekly therapy with the VA and still battling health issues left over from the Leukemia.
I am humbly asking for donations to assist in the payment for a Service K9 (Pictured K9 Jaeger). Funds will go solely to the purchase of K9 Jaeger and his training program as well as 1 year of private training for him and myself as a team. Services will be provided by Cumberland Command K9 in Muskegon Michigan. As an 11 year military K9 veteran he is an experienced K9 trainer and handler.
