A Wheelchair-Accessible Van needed
Meet Jadine Baldwin.
She's a sweet and loveable 13-year-old girl from Georgetown in
Ontario, Canada. Jadine was born with cerebral palsy and she and her
family need your help.
Jadine got her first wheelchair when most kids were getting
their first tricycle. She cannot walk, or dress herself without
assistance.
Over the
years, it has been more difficult for Jadine's family to transport her to
school and doctors appointments. She's getting bigger and heavier to
lift. Her father, Jason, broke his back in car accident in 2009 and so he
is disable and can no longer lift his daughter. Jadine is now 5'7 and
weighs 120 pounds. Her mother, Khadine, who is 5'1 and weighs 110
pounds struggles daily to lift their growing, beautiful daughter.
The Baldwin family, which includes four younger children who
adore their big sister, is desperate to get a new wheelchair accessible van..
These vans are expensive and they don't have the money.
Jadine's family has started an online campaign to raise $10,000 to help buy new
wheels for their daughter. This would greatly enhance the
quality of life for Jadine and her family.
We sincerely
thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your support!
The Baldwin Family.
