Jacob's medical bills fund

Hi, my name is Heidi and I am fundraising for my son, Jacob. He was burned very badly on Father's Day, 6/19/2022, by an aerial mortar that our neighbors lit off. The mortar struck him in the right hip and exploded on him, catching his clothing on fire and melting the clothes to him. He sustained 3rd degree burns and will need surgery and skin grafts in a week. We are truly devastated by this tragedy and are expecting high medical bills for his care. My husband is a union electrician. He has already missed work for this and more time off is necessary in the future due to upcoming surgeries. We are afraid of losing our home if our medical bills are too high. Please help, if possible. My son is a wonderful kid with great grades in school and a big heart.
