Jacob's Guardian Angels

My son, Jacob Brandt, has suffered with Crohns Disease since he was in 2nd grade. In the 20 years since this diagnosis in 1998 Jacob has always shown great strength and courage going through countless medical procedures, hospitalizations and now his 3rd surgery removing 1/2 of his small intestines to date. Unfortunately a cancerous tumor was found  in his small intestine with this 3rd surgery on April 4, 2018 which was unexpected.
     Some of you may know about Jacob's fondness for radio and I'm proud to say that his radio 'career' started  during a Children's Miracle Network radioathon in 1999 when he was 10 years old. Though he went through many hospitalizations that first year of his diagnosis, he always wanted to help in some way as Children's Miracle Network helped him so much that 1st year. He has continued to not only volunteer for Children's Miracle Network, but he is a common face at church in recent years volunteering in many capacities and teaching religious ed. He also is attempting to work part time at The Apostleship of Prayer, but with his latest Crohns and now cancer struggles his ability to work is greatly impacted.
     So now it's time to help this courageous young man and his beautiful family - his beautiful wife Jessica and adorable  2yr old daughter, Lucy. I ask you to give what you can to help Jake cover medical bills that are mounting up quickly, as well as give him a buffer for future treatments - that may include a stem cell/bone marrow transplant that his team of doctors are working on. If you can't give monetarily please keep Jake and his family in your prayers as his health situation is complicated with his dual diagnosis'.
