Jacob Moore Memorial Garden & Swings

Jacob Benjamin Moore was a bright light at Chattanooga Valley Middle School. At just 13, he was known for his amazing laugh, the best hugs, and a kindness that touched everyone he met. Jacob’s warmth and spirit made a lasting impact on his classmates, teachers, and the entire school community.

To honor Jacob’s memory, we are raising funds to create a memorial garden, a new walkway, and adaptive swings at Chattanooga Valley Middle School. The garden will be a peaceful space for reflection, while the walkway will make it easier for students with special needs to reach the walking track. The adaptive swings are especially meaningful, as Jacob loved to swing and found so much joy in it. A plaque in his honor will be placed in the garden, ensuring his legacy lives on for years to come.

The school will handle the installation, and I will help design the space. All funds raised will go directly toward materials, construction, and the adaptive equipment. Our goal is to complete the project by the end of the school year in May 2026, so that students and staff can celebrate Jacob’s life and enjoy this special place together.
