Jacob Brown Medical Expenses

Donation protected
Last November my son in law Jacob Brown started having double vision. He and my daughter Cassie went to three different neurologists locally and finally ended up at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. What they know for sure is that Jake has sixth nerve palsy in his left eye and that the optic nerve is completely paralyzed. What they also know is that he has lesions or scratches on his brain. What they don't know after two trips to Minnesota and an upcoming trip to Florida to another Mayo Clinic, is what is causing his symptoms. Jakes optic nerve is not only paralyzed, but his equilibrium is off leaving him to use a cane to walk and now his speech is being affected. Jake is a 30 year old veteran, he and Cassie have been married for 7 1/2 years. They have two beautiful children in elementary school. Jake is employed by Corning, but has not been able to work since last November. Praise God for Corning and his disability, but living off of 66% of his salary has been tough. They will travel back to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL for an appointment on December 13 in hopes of some answers.

The Browns need our prayer, they also need financial support for their medical and living expenses.  They have been approved for a habitat home that will start build after the first of the year.  With this blessing will also come a small downpayment which they have no way to save for at this point.  Cassie and Jake do not qualify for public assistance.
