Jackson and Mobley Family Fire Relief Fund

On Saturday, October 31, 2020, A. Mobley heard a loud crackling sound coming from the garage. When she entered the garage, there was smoke everywhere. At the time, there were three people in the home getting ready to go to bed because it was 11:15 PM. The family immediately jumped up and ran out of the house. After safely getting out of the house, the fire grew larger and larger. It consumed all of the families personal items, such as clothing, food, irreplaceable items, and two vehicles. The fire was hard to contain and took over 25 fire fighter to get it under control. The roof had to be knocked in and water sprayed throughout the house to contain the fire that ignited over and over. The entire house was destroyed. The clothing on the inside has been stained by the soot from the fire and water that was used to put out the fire. The house cannot be lived in and we are currently living in a hotel. This is a very devastating situation and to date it is unknown how the fire started. We are grateful to be alive and have a long road to the house being totally rebuilt and attempting to regain some normalcy to our lives. Thank you for your donations and concern for our family .
