<div>Whilst most children Jack’s age are preparing for Christmas, Jack Whyman is preparing for surgery to remove his eye due to cancer.

<div>Please help us to raise the money to send Jack and his family to Disney World, Florida. The thought of this holiday will help Jack through the darkest days of his treatment.

<div>The news of Jacks cancer has come as a huge blow to Jack and his family. Firstly, that it has returned and secondly that such drastic measures have to be taken to remove it.
</div>
<div>Jack’s battle started when he was 7 years old. His parent’s, Jodie and Wayne, noticed that his eyelid had started to droop and after many tests, scans and surgical procedures it was found to be Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare type of soft tissue sarcoma which grows in the muscles of the body. He then underwent many months of chemotherapy and a special type of radiotherapy called Proton Beam Therapy to attempt to eradicate the disease from his body.
</div>
<div>And it was successful, until a few weeks ago when a routine MRI scan revealed that Jack once again had cancer. This time, however, it was a high-grade tumour, and the treatment would need to be much more aggressive.
</div>
<div>Jack faces a far stronger and more prolonged level of chemotherapy, this time. In the nurse’s words “we are bringing out the big guns for this one.” Unfortunately, this comes with severe and debilitating side effects which Jack has already started to experience. After his first round of chemotherapy Jack has changed from a rugby loving chatterbox to a boy who could barely stand or talk.

<div>Sending Jack and his family to Disney World is an amazing way to give them some happiness and positivity during this challenging period. I am asking for the community to please come together to support Jack and his family in any way they can.
</div>
<div>If we are lucky enough to exceed our target we will put the funds towards travel insurance, car hire and spending money.
</div>
