UPDATE: Our home is still standing we are not sure of the damages but it's standing please keep praying for our family and community. We are not sure how long it will be before we can live in it so we are still in need of shelter, food, and travel expenses. Unfortunately we did not have renters insurance so we paid what we could to stay up untill 9/6. We are still staying in a room in Yreka our kids go to weed and we have to leave our room no later then noon tomorrow. We are hoping to get a room in weed any help is appriciated. We want to thank everyone that's helped us. Your kind words and support have got us threw this. 

This is not easy for us to do I know so many family's in our community have absolutely nothing left and it's heartbreaking. We were evacuated in the mill fire. We are trying to get funds together to keep our kids local so they can stay in school and support there peers. We have four children and two adults. Our home is in lincoln heights and we have not been able to go into the neighborhood to see what the damages are . We didn't have time to pack or grab anything for our kids. The heat, flames, and debre were hitting our car and home so I forced my family to leave me behind to try and save our home and animals. I put as much water as I could on our home but I had to leave. They left in socks and pj's we didn't have any gas, cash, food, or any basics just us. I'm trying my best to keep our kids calm this is there second fire they are scared even with my assurance that we will be ok and we're safe. Not knowing if I will be able to provide basic needs for my family day to day is taking its toll. If we are able to go back home we are offering help and space to anyone that needs help. Any funds not used for our families immediate needs will go to our community. We want to help in any way we can but we are feeling pretty helpless in our current situation.
