Jackie’s Treatment In Spain

Hello!

We are asking you to help us raise money to help get Jackie to Spain for special treatment in the hopes to kill off her cancer. Jackie has been battling Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer going on 3 years (in October). After her diagnosis where she had intense Chemotherapy and Radiation to stop the cancer from spreading, she has been receiving treatment every 3 weeks to continue to maintain a functional lifestyle. All the treatment she has done is a maintenance type of chemotherapy, it does not kill the cancer and it will never cure her. We have been ok with this treatment for now but after a scary scan in which it looks like she has more growth in her body we’ve decided to try and actually fight the cancer and not just play the waiting game. Jackie will be taking an ultrasound in a couple of weeks and this will determine whether or not the doctors will put her through a more aggressive type chemotherapy. Again, these treatments do not bring about a cure, they more stave off the cancer as long as possible.

SO we are raising money to ACTUALLY FIGHT THE CANCER!!! We’ve been given the thumbs up from her doctors that if we are going to try and do this then the time is now! We are raising money for Jackie to receive a special type of treatment in Spain that is 2 weeks long. Jackie will detox, take specific supplements, and receive Hyperthermia (a heating of the body to kill the cancer) and more. We are praying that this treatment will help bring about healing or kill the cancer enough that Jackie will have many MANY more years with us. It is a big number that we asking for but we believe and KNOW that Jackie is worth much more than that… SHE IS PRICELESS!

Please help us raise this $50,000 CAD so we can do what can be done to fight this ugly devastating disease. We have 7 children (5 of which are daughters) and more then anything Jackie wants to be there to help plan and see all of their weddings, please consider helping us in our time of need! We are planning on leaving July 22nd or 23rd so we will need any donation ASAP to buy plane tickets, reserve her treatment etc….this is definitely time sensitive.
